Jep, Rekkakalenteri projekti alkaa olla loppusuoralla, ja viimeiset kuvat saadaan otettua kun lumi peittää maan. Kalenteri julkaistaan vuodelle 2015!!! Ja on saatavilla alkusyksystä 2014!!! 

 

Halusimme julkaista muutaman, ammattilaisen ottaman, maistiaiskuvan osoittaaksemme kuinka korkealaatuista päivyriä olemme työstämässä! Kaikki yllä olevat kuvat on ottanut PS-Studio / Keijo Penttinen.



New Details add to Silicone Express W900A EXHD!

Valtteri helping me out with Bug Deflector installation.

 We fabricated nice retro style stainless accent piece under hood ornament.

 

 Finally got my retro style Red Bug Deflector done and mounted on top of the hood.

 

 I wanted my bug deflector to be red to match on the Candy Red I used on chassis.

 

Here's pic from raw piece of specially modified old KW-crooked grille emblem with my specs. It's modified to be mounted on flat surface like side of the hood or mud flaps (plan is to use them on my flaps). It mounts from back side with studs.

 

One you see on pic is still unfinished piece. Ready emblems will be polished up to mirror shine and background of KW and ribbons will be painted red to match the truck.

 

 

 

While I'm waiting my new project "Screamin' Jimmy" to arrive from US I've been working on with my precious Kenworth W900A EXHD. Above you see some cool details I'm working on at the moment. I have bunch of other details under progress as well, but to learn more about them you have to stay tuned!!!

Joo...eli ootellessa uuven projektin saapumista Valloista olen puuhaillut rakkaan Kenworth W900A:n parissa. Moni varmaan luuli, että se on jo unohettu, vaan eipäs ole. Sen jalostus jatkuu kokoajan, ja työn alla on useampia yksityiskohtia, mitäpä en vielä paljasta. Siinähän seuraatte tätä sivua, että mitä olen keksinyt.

Project "Screaming Jimmy" GMC General!

 

Here's few fresh pictures from our new project called "Screaming Jimmy". Truck is GMC 5 -Star General, year 1986 model and has 8V92T Silver 2-stroke V8 Detroit Diesel engine in it and 13sp Eaton Fuller transmission.

 

Truck have been garage kept over past ten years and have been run only during harvest seasons. Newer run hard. General is overal in very nice original condition as you can see from the pictures.

Wanna give huge thanks to my great friend Don Ridzon Jr. and his family from locating this real cool piece of old iron for us!

 

This build is gonna be different from all the earlier Silicone Express builts we've done so far, but that's all I'm about to tell you at this point, so for more detailed information keep tuned for us!

Jep, eli yllä pari aivan tuoretta kuvaa meidän uudesta projektista joka kulkee nimellä "Screaming Jimmy". Nuppi on GMC 5 -star General, vuosimallia 1986 ja siinä on 8V92T 2-tahti V8 Detroit Diesel pannu. Laatikkona on 13 -vaihteinen Fuller.


Niille joille GMC General ei kerro mitään neuvoisin katsomaan kulttirekkaleffan Smokey and the Bandit 2 (Jyrää taas). Kyseisessä leffassa Snowman kuskaa vastaavalla Generalilla norsua Banditin härnätessä poliiseja. General on myös pala suomalaista jenkkirekka historiaa. Toihan Kulmakorpi aikanaan näitä uutena parikin kappaletta Suomeen, tosin päivähytillisinä. Toinen autoista oli ns. gliderkit ja tuhoutui aikanaan. Toinen on edelleen hengissä harrastajan käsissä.


Tämä General on erittäin siisti yksilö, ja ollut käytössä vain sadonkorjuuaikaan. Säilytetty sisällä viimeiset reippaan kymmennen vuotta, ja ei ole koskaan ollut rankassa ajossa. Auto on todella hyvässä alkuperäiskunnossa.

Tämä projekti on tarkoitus rakentaa erityyliin kuin aikaisemmat Silicone Express -projektit. En kuitenkaan paljasta enempää tässä kohtaa. Pitäkää silmät ja korvat auki!

As title sais here are few new teaser shots I took behind pro's back while we shot Anu Pekonen and Tiina H. for our new Truckin' Calendar -project. YES, we're working on to get new truckin' calendar made asap with pro photographer Keijo Penttinen from PS-Studio.
